From September 23rd to 25th, the highly anticipated Solar & Storage Live UK 2025 was grandly held at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. As a world-leading ESS solution provider, TWS Technology made a heavyweight appearance with its star products such as the Max-Pro liquid-cooling energy storage cabinet and PowerCore liquid-cooling energy storage container, as well as full-scenario energy storage solutions covering the generation-grid side, solar-storage-charging integration, and microgrid systems.
Star Products Debut, Attracting Widespread Attention
The core of TWS Technology's participation in this exhibition lies in two liquid-cooling energy storage products representing cutting-edge industry technologies. With their superior performance, outstanding safety, and flexible configuration, they meet the stringent needs of users of different scales.
The All-in-one Max-Pro liquid-cooling energy storage cabinet has attracted widespread attention due to its high integration and high safety. As the flagship industrial and commercial model launched by TWS Technology in 2025, this product incorporates a PCS to achieve an AC-DC integrated design. It not only saves more than 40% of the floor space but also greatly simplifies the on-site installation and commissioning process, reduces after-sales maintenance costs, and significantly improves project safety and economy. Equipped with TWS's independently developed second-generation intelligent liquid cooling technology, it can control the temperature difference of the entire cabinet within 1.5℃. Combined with the intelligent thermal runaway early warning and suppression system, as well as the dual fire-fighting facilities of gas and liquid, it builds a full-lifecycle safety barrier. It is worth noting that the Max-Pro has successfully passed the IEC 62933-5-2:2020 international core safety standard test conducted by SGS, as well as multiple European certifications such as IEC 62619 and EN 61000, obtaining a "passport" for entering the UK and European markets.
Targeting utility-scale energy storage needs, the PowerCore liquid-cooling energy storage container demonstrates strong large-scale application capabilities. The system is equipped with a 1P104S liquid-cooling battery pack, supporting a flexible configuration of 2-4 hours, with a single-unit capacity of up to 5 MWh. Adopting an integrated cabin pre-installation design can reduce installation and transportation costs by more than 20%. Its integrated AI early fault warning technology has an accuracy rate of 99%. Coupled with the multi-protection system, including 4-level early warning, multi-level fusing, and electrical interlocking, it can be adapted to harsh scenarios such as large-scale photovoltaic power plants and grid peak shaving in the UK. Meanwhile, through the AI self-adjusting temperature control design, the system's discharge capacity is increased by 8%, the cycle life is extended by 15%, and it has significant advantages in the levelized cost of energy (LCOE) throughout the lifecycle, perfectly meeting the large-scale energy storage needs of the UK.
Deep Diving into Application Scenarios, Providing One-Stop Energy Storage Solutions
In addition to core products, the full-scenario energy storage solutions displayed by TWS Technology further demonstrate its system integration capabilities. On the generation-grid side, TWS Technology’s energy storage systems participate in grid frequency regulation, peak capacity replacement, and deferral of transmission and distribution upgrades. They help grid operators and energy companies enhance grid resilience, accelerate the integration of renewable energy into the grid, and achieve renewable energy consumption as well as grid frequency and voltage regulation. In the Gunsan Wind Farm Project in South Korea, the collaboration of multiple ProeM energy storage cabinets and the EMS successfully solved the problem of wind power volatility.
In the field of solar-storage-charging integration, the intelligent linkage of photovoltaic, energy storage, and charging facilities enables optimized energy dispatching, significantly reducing electricity costs and providing green and fast charging services for electric vehicle users. This is particularly suitable for commercial complexes, logistics parks, and public charging stations.
The microgrid solution, with its flexible networking capability, adapts to the reliable power supply needs of remote areas and critical loads. In the energy storage project of a manufacturing site in the United States, a microgrid system built with multiple integrated Max-Pro energy storage cabinets as exhibited this time, provides a stable power supply for the plant with off-grid and grid-connected switching capacity. The solution features a black-start function, which can independently restore power supply without relying on the main grid, making it a key technical path to ensure energy security and achieve carbon neutrality goals.
These solutions have been validated by multiple projects worldwide and accumulated mature application experience in European markets such as Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, and Switzerland.
TWS Technology's participation in this exhibition serves as both a precise response to the demands of the European energy storage market and a key practice of its global strategic layout. As a core hub for Europe's energy transition, the UK presents vast development opportunities in its energy storage market. With years of deep expertise in lithium battery energy storage, TWS Technology possesses a global R&D system, 10 GWh of intelligent production capacity, strong R&D capabilities, and extensive global project delivery experience. Through this exhibition, TWS Technology not only demonstrated its strength in energy storage technology innovation and commercial application but also aims to engage in deeper discussions with industry partners on addressing the specific challenges of the energy transition in the UK and European markets, contributing core value to a greener future for the UK and Europe, and jointly depicting a new blueprint for a zero-carbon energy future.
